The children took part in the RSBP Big Schools Birdwatch today. They looked for birds in the garden using binoculars donated by @laurahallain to spot birds high up. They made tally marks to record how many birds they saw & the species. They made bird food cakes too.

“Why do we have to feed the birds?”
“Are there chickens? I like chicken nuggets”
“He’s got blue feathers and white feathers on his face”
“The mixture looks like porridge”
“Where Robin go?”
“Sssh. Birdie is singing”
“I found Robin!”
“I can see 7 sparrows in the tree”
