The chn were thirsty this morning whilst playing in the garden. They picked some lemon mint from the garden to add to the jug of water. It soon turned into role play, with the children setting up a ‘lemonade stall’ and pouring drinks for each other. A sign was written that said “Have some water”
“You want some?” “It’s like lemonade water” “I no like plant” “You want blue? Pink? Green?” “It’s heavy to carry. I’m strong” “We not pour sand in the water” “Drink your water. Drink it” “I like mint” “We have to wash up now” “My turn” “It’s so hot. It’s making me thirsty”
