Today a parent came into Nursery to tell the children how they celebrated Eid. The children saw their friends prayer mat, what they wear when they pray and photos of food they ate at home and when they went to the big celebrations in Burgess Park. We learnt so much. Thank you.
Thank you to families who have been coming in to talk to us about how Eid celebrations. A child said, “Eid, I get present, a Paw Patrol present. I eat cake, moon and star. Eid cake.” Children had fun making cakes and sweets too from playdough.
We love listening to the children’s voices as they continue to talk about their Eid celebrations. “Me and my uncle Zayan were celebrating. I had pudding on Eid. Rice pudding and jelly. Allah never sleeps. He watches everyone when they be naughty. But at Nanny’s Santa comes”
