One of our grandparents came into Nursery with home made jollof rice & chicken, a “yummy & popular food from Nigeria”. We learnt that other West African countries also make jollof rice & have competitions to see who makes the best rice! Every grain was eaten #BlackHistoryMonth
We looked closely at Grandma Maureen’s coral necklace which she wears on special occasions. We also learnt that the beautiful blouse and skirt was an outfit that could be worn to birthday parties & other special times. Thank you so much Maureen. We loved having you at Nursery.
