The chn had an amazing experience when Animal Encounters visited Nursery. They learnt about, and held, a selection of mammals, reptiles & insects, inc a Leopard Geko, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches and, the star of the show, a Python, called Zazu. In one child’s words “It was the best day ever”.
The chn are taking part in the Wildlife Trusts ’30 Days Wild’. They made a small wildlife pond, nature treasure baskets and apple bird feeders (below). “We’re making an apple bird feeder” “I can see through the apple” “I’ll hold the apple for you” “I can open the seeds myself” “Here’s one more seed”
