More children visited the rescue hens at Glengall Wharf Gardens. They fed the hens (seeds and kale), they held the hens gently and they searched for eggs in the coops. They also collected fallen, ripe fruit (apricots and greengages) from the orchard to feed to the hens. Such a rich experience.
