At this time of year we have a small, independent lunch table. The children help set the table, learn to serve themselves and tidy up when lunch is finished.
“We need 6 bowls”
“Shall I give the spoons?”
“Have you finished?”
“I like to wipe the table”
“That bowl goes on top”
