The children took part in the Big Schools’ Birdwatch 2026. They looked and listened carefully to find out which species of birds visited the Nursery garden. They made tally marks to record their findings. “What this?” “It’s not landing” “I can see the sparrows” “Hello birdie” “Quack quack” “Pájaro”
“I can see the sparrows” “I got that bird at my house” “Teacher teacher teacher” “Where’s the birds? They aren’t coming” “He’s got yellow feathers” “The sparrow is eating the seeds” We *think* we saw a sparrow hawk in a sycamore tree. But the sunlight was low so it was hard to tell.
