Today families and staff shared stories, clothes and artefacts from their home countries…Anansi tales, a dress for special occasions, such as Easter, from Ethiopia, old passports from Jamaica and hair care products too. We love learning from each other.
We ended the day with a special whole Nursery story-time with one of our parents. Her son’s heritage is Jamaican, Barbudan & Ghanaian so we listened to Zara’s Caribbean Adventure. Next week, we will get together to listen to Emmanuel’s African Adventure.
